The Property
Loch View Lodge is a Scandinavian-style lodge, perfectly set in a quiet and picturesque location in the Hunters Quay Holiday Park. The lodge commands stunning loch views from your lodge windows and the outside deck. Privately owned this inviting two bedroom retreat is perfect for families or couples 
 
Based on the edge of the coastal town of Dunoon, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, Loch View Lodge offers quality self catering lodge accommodation for up to four guests. 

Inside
Warm and welcoming the lodge offers quality and contemporary interiors. Light and airy the spacious open plan living area has full length picture windows with views, comfortable sofas and a cosy wood burning stove. There is an open dining room seating up to six and a very well equipped kitchen to cook up a delicious feast.

On the upper level the lodge sleeps up to four guests, featuring a double bedroom with wonderful views over the loch and an ensuite Jack and Jill style bathroom. The second bedroom is a twin and has access to the bathroom by the landing door. There is a second bathroom with toilet and shower on the ground floor.

Outside
The large open deck area, complete with outdoor furniture is a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy alfresco eating or fully unwind while soaking up the stunning loch views and scenic surroundings.

Explore
An idyllic location to explore the region or simply taking some time out to soak up some Scottish sun, or cosy up by the log fire in winter.

Loch View Lodge is located within the Hunter’s Quay Holiday Village where it offers swimming pools, a leisure centre, games, and a bar and restaurant.

Visit further local attractions including the Benmore Botanic Gardens, Argyll Forest Park, and historic Kilmun. The region is filled with places to see and things to do. The area is one big outdoor playground. Take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more.

Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Argyll's Secret Coast, the Isle of Bute, and historic Inveraray, it's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.

HUNTERS QUAY
Located just outside Dunoon, Hunters Quay is a village tucked away in an elevated position within the Cowal Peninsula on charming countryside, offering spectacular panoramic views across the Holy Loch and the Clyde Estuary. Hunters Quay is the main base of Western Ferries LTD, operating between Hunters Quay and McInroy's Point.
 
DUNOON
Dunoon is the main town on the Cowal Peninsula in the south of Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is on the western shore of the upper Firth of Clyde. The coastal town offers a selection of craft shops, galleries, pubs and cafes.
 
DIRECTIONS
You can travel by Citylink Bus or by train from Glasgow to the ferry terminals at Gourock. Calmac and Western Ferries both serve the Dunoon area and both ferry operators have passenger facilities.

Driving to Dunoon follow the M8 from Glasgow to Gourock where you can catch the Western Ferries Ferry to Dunoon. You can also drive via the A82, a very picturesque route past Loch Lomond and through the Argyll countryside. See the AA web site for a route planner.
