Exposed stone and warm timber sit alongside large windows framed by curved wooden arches, filling the room with light and views across the glen. You might spot horses grazing in the fields as you share a meal, then settle into a sofa beside the wood-burning stove.

Living and Dining
The living and dining area is one spacious, light-filled room designed for spending time together. From the dining table and comfortable sofas, you can look out across the glen and surrounding hills. Share a meal with the views in front of you, then settle beside the wood-burning stove for a cosy evening in.  
 
Kitchen  
The large, modern country-style kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, whether you’re making a slow breakfast or cooking a family meal with fresh local produce. The breakfast bar is a place to gather over morning coffee or keep the cook company.

A serving window connects the kitchen to the living and dining room, so conversation can carry on while meals are being prepared and served.

 
Bedrooms
Glenkerran House features four country-style bedrooms, arranged over two floors.
 
Ground Floor Bedroom: A spacious room with twin beds that can be made up as a king-sized double.  
First Floor Bedroom Two: A twin room that can also be made up as a king-sized double.
First Floor Bedroom Three: A double bedroom.
First Floor Bedroom Four: A spacious double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
 
Bathrooms
The ground-floor bedroom has an adjacent modern shower room and toilet. Bedrooms two and three each have an adjacent private bathroom with bath, hand held shower and toilet. Bedroom four has an en-suite bathroom with a modern wet-room style shower cubicle and toilet.

From its countryside setting near Southend, Glenkerran House is a wonderful base for discovering Kintyre. Walk a section of the Kintyre Way, visit Campbeltown’s whisky distilleries or enjoy a round of golf at Machrihanish. Closer to home, take time to explore the beaches and quiet country roads around Southend.
 
Head to Westport Beach for a long stroll beside the Atlantic or to watch the waves roll in. It’s a popular spot for surfing and windsurfing, while experienced kitesurfers are drawn to the beach when conditions are right. Whether you’re getting out on the water or simply enjoying the wide stretch of sand, it’s a memorable part of Kintyre’s west coast.
 
Explore more of the peninsula, from its coastal villages and beaches to historic Campbeltown and the Mull of Kintyre. Stop along the way for fresh local seafood and take your time over the views.
 
For a day trip, catch the ferry from Tayinloan to the Isle of Gigha. The crossing takes around 20 minutes, leaving time to explore the island’s sandy beaches, walking routes and gardens before returning to Kintyre.

Rules: Strictly no events, hen or stag parties. No smoking or vaping at the property.
