This lodge is privately owned and independently managed, with all bookings and payments handled exclusively through Argyll Self Catering Holidays. It is not affiliated with Hunters Quay Holiday Village, though guests are welcome to access the park’s facilities during their stay. ALL activity charges are to be paid directly to the village park.

Heather Lodge is set in a quieter part of the village park, accessed via a separate road next to Hafton Castle, providing a peaceful setting away from the main activity areas.
Need To Know:
Dog Policy: Your well behaved dogs are welcome. The charge is £25 per pet per stay. Maximum two. Please bring your dog’s own towels and bedding.
Car Parking: Two allocated free car parking space next to the lodge.

Located just outside Dunoon, Hunters Quay is a peaceful village set in an elevated spot on the Cowal Peninsula, offering beautiful views over the Holy Loch and the Clyde Estuary. Heather Lodge sits within Hunters Quay Holiday Village, a welcoming, family‑friendly park surrounded by woodland and scenic countryside.
Despite its tranquil feel, the village is only a short distance from Dunoon’s shops, cafés, restaurants and waterfront. With Western Ferries operating frequent sailings to McInroy’s Point, Hunters Quay also provides fast and convenient access to Gourock and the central belt of Scotland.

1st time visiting Hunters Quay and really glad we booked Heather Lodge, Beautiful spacious lodge , everything from the crisp new bedding and very comfortable beds made it a real home from home, separate kitchen had everything you need and also included a coffee maker and air fryer. We made good use of the hot tub which was a real bonus. Hunters Quay holiday park was a bonus too and we made full use of facilities, swimming pool , mini golf , arcade for my son and also enjoyed the early evening entertainment 1 night, the on site restaurant was great and we had 2 lovely meals there , also used the pizza takeaway and had lovely fish and chips from the van. Would definitely recommend the Lodge and the holiday park and will definitely pay a return visit.
