Wonderful break in Scotland
5/5 Stars Upfront Reviews - August 2024
We found both the location and the service excellent. The only drawback was the weather but despite the rain we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable cottage next to a fab Brewery
4.5 Stars Upfront Reviews - July 2024
This is our second visit to the cottage. We love it as it is next to FyneAles - of course but also because it is dog friendly with a secure garden. This second time, we came with our daughter and family...grandchildren also loved the secure garden. The daughter and family had the whole of the upstairs - which does creak a little if you are a light sleeper. However, the cottage is clean, well equipped and the bonus of being able to walk to the FyneAles Tap means no one needs to drive. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location
4.8/5 Stars Upfront Reviews - August 2023
We have stayed in numerous self catering accomodations over the years and this was a top quality cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of space in the lounge and dining room for all of us (8 people). The washing and drying facilities were excellent and there was ample room for all our supplies due to the 2 fridge-freezers and large pantry. We enjoyed exploring the glorious countryside of the local area and beyond.

Quiet location with stunning views
5/5 Stars VRBO Review - June 2023
My wife & I stayed at Inverfyne Cottage for the last week of our 33rd anniversary trip to Scotland. Beautiful surroundings, great views of Loch Fyne only a short walk away. The cottage was very comfortable and inviting. Kitchen was well-stocked with cookware & dinnerware, as we cook all our own meals due to allergies. There is plenty of room for 1 or 2 families to stay. Loved relaxing and watching the Highland cows that would visit nearby every couple of days. Easy drives to Loch Lomond & Inverary (I'd add scenic, but is there a place in Scotland that isn't?!). Would highly recommend this cottage.

All-round excellence
5/5 Stars Upfront Reviews - April 2023
Inverfyne Cottage is in an beautiful location for those would seek quiet and solitude, at least in the Spring, before the main tourist season. A lovely sitting room overlooks Loch Fyne with direct access to an enclosed garden ideal for our two terriers. Perfectly equipped for self catering, indeed above standard of others. Many walks lead directly from the cottage and Fyne Ale Brewery is only 300m away and open daily until 6.00pm. Inveraray Castle & Gardens and Ardinglas both worth visiting.

It’s a lovely cottage and perfect for our families Christmas holiday . The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.  The owner is lovely and welcoming and provided us with provisions for our first night and day as the nearest supermarket is quite a distance away.
There is a local Brewery a short walk away and a restaurant close by .
Argyll holidays were very efficient and extremely helpful in arranging the holiday for us. They were easy to contact and always responded quickly.
We were very happy with our stay, the beautiful area and lovely walks . The children were very happy there.

Beautiful homely property located in a fantastic area.

It is very remote but you can walk to the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, the Stagecoach Pub and the lovely Fyne Ales Brewery. The house comes with good WiFi and satellite TV. Best of all there's an open fire with peat for a cozy evening.

Family Guttman

We have been doing holidays for 20 yrs now, and 'Inverfyne' cottage comes out top of the list!!! It has not failed in anything. You made us sooo welcome and even provided us with an extra freezer and a cot.

It has been a wonderful two weeks and YES RAIN DAILY, but we ignored it all and managed good days at the beach, walking up the 'Cobbler' & 'Ben Ime', the Brewery, play with the sheep, cattle and deer and best of all the swing outside!! Also a trip to Lismore was stunning and enjoyed Kayaking and boating.

Much more still to do and we all want to come back again!!

In a nut shell its been very relaxing and the very BEST FYNE HOLIDAY.

See you again!!

Paulie, Alistair and the Shelties(Crystal and Ellie)

We have had a lovely holiday at inverfyne Cottage. We came to walk the hills but oh my goodness what a heatwave there has been. We did manage to walk up into the Arrochar alps and had a look at the Cobbler. It is a nice walk up 'Glen Fyne', 'Glen Kinglas' & 'Loch Sloy'. Would also recommend Cruachan reservoir, but not straight up by the waterfall like we did!! There is a much easier path from the power station. Because of the heat we did a lot of forest walks. 'Arkinglas' was lovely and we also did a lot of forest walks in Lochgoilhead. Of course the 'Brewery' is a must with delicious ales. We enjoyed eating at Loch Fyne, the Inn at Cairndow. Our favourite was the 'George' at Inverarary.

Thank you Tuggy and Elaine.

Everything you need for a very relaxing break catching up with friends and/or family.

5 Stars Upfront Reviews - April 2018

Just back from a great 4 days at Inverfyne cottage with three old friends. Everything was absolutely perfect and since no one else was moving in or out on the same days they were happy to be very flexible about both check in and check out times, which was a great bonus. The cottage is very well equipped, they seem to have thought of everything you might possibly need. Location is stunning, fantastic views out of every window, especially the huge window (basically one of the walls) in the lounge. The real fire just finishes the experience off nicely. Also, really comfortable beds. Plus extremely comfy sofas and armchairs.

Basically, everything you need for a very relaxing break catching up with friends and/or family.

Handy tips: The ground floor shower room/toilet has a heater connected to the light in the ceiling. you have to pull a chord to switch it on. It took me a while to discover it. Plus, the switch for the heated towel rail is immediately outside the toilet door almost at ground level. Again I didn't notice this at first.

4.2/5 Stars Upfront Reviews - Feb 2018

Very nice, clean and well kept but old fashioned style open planned cottage with beautiful scenery around. Has everything you need giving it a home from home feel and has maintained that traditional peat fuelled fire within the living room, great for cold weather. This however may not suit everyone who likes the convenience of just switching on the gas central heating systems. Has plenty of walking places around the cottage, a brewery and restaurant within 10 minutes walk, all in all a good place to stay and relax.
