Wonderful Amenities and Lovely Location.5/5 Star Upfront Reviews - May 2024Absolute best lodging of our trip. We decided to make our ferry journey to Islay as frictionless as possible and booked the lodge to have an extremely chill time enjoying the Kintyre Peninsula and not have to rush to the ferry in the morning. This lodge has a lot of rooms with comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms with excellent water pressure and enough space to turn around in. There are games and books to while away the time if you so choose. The kitchen is completely stocked with all manner of pans, pots and appliances to make everything a breeze. Although we had fewer people than originally planned, this place would have hosted more people without anyone getting on top of each other. We were very comfortable and relaxed here and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We also had wonderful service from David Bridge of PEP Cars who helped us explore the area.
Holiday Heaven!5/5 Star Upfront Reviews - September 2023A fabulous house in an excellent location for touring the Kintyre Peninsula and Islands around it. Whether rain or shine the house is a great place to be and being able to watch the Islay ferries come and go is a bonus.
Glorious Kintyre5/5 Star Upfront Reviews - May 2023A great property, thoughtfully and tastefully presented with great backup from booking to leaving. A restful feeling hung over our complete stay, fantastic.

Beautifil location, handy for Campbeltown, Tarbert and A'Chleit Beach - stunning.
Plenty of reading material and toys for the kids, including adults with a pool table provided.
Had a wonderful holiday, even managed a great day over at Gigha with a supberb meal at 'The Boat House'.
Finally, the hosts were very accommodating and had no trouble in making their wonderful home available to us.
