A wonderful stay at Seal Point Cabin
October 2024 - 5/5 Upfront Reviews
My sister and I stayed at Seal Point Cabin las week. We had chosen to stay around Loch Fyne to revisit places we had stayed on holiday as children 40 years ago. The location was just PERFECTION! Idyllic and peaceful and beyond our expectations.
Louisa's hospitality when we arrived was incredibly warm and friendly. She gave us a rundown of things inside the cabin/how everything worked etc and had provided recommendations on places to eat nearby. The cabin itself was so cute and cosy. We really looked forward to coming back to it each night after a day of exploring. All the home comforts you could need are inside whilst outside there is a firepit where we toasted marshmallows. The cabin is situated right on the loch so of course a dip in the saltwater was a must do activity.
We will absolutely come back to Seal Point - its a little piece of heaven and we had the best holiday because of it. Huge thanks to Louisa :)
Fabulous and relaxing stay in a beautiful cabin within a fantastic setting.

April 2024 - Guest Book ReviewThank you Louisa for the lovely welcome. Managed to see 2 seals at Rubha No on the way along the loch to Cairndow! However, be aware you can't get along at high tide as the path goes onto the beach. Lovely, comfy bed which made a welcome change from our previous stop in the Lake District! Had a look around Inveraray Castle and grounds which was interesting. Even managed to see a red squirrel.
Seal Point CabinApril 2024 - Guest Book ReviewTruly beautiful! We've loved every moment of our stay. Louisa is a wonderful host, so helpful and kind - we really appreciated the extra few hours to explore on the last day. Highlights have included lovely walks, loch side to Cairndow from Seal Point, wandering around Inverarary Castle, a visit to The George pub and fish and chips by the loch. We didnt see a seal, but you can't have it all! We'll definitely be back - thanks so much for a stay we'll remember forever. Lots of love xxxxx

An absolutely stunning base over Christmas enabling me to see friends all over the Highlands including “Russ walks the Uzk anticlickwise” who’s walking for SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity. Great hospitality from Louisa and family and I will certainly look to return here. Thank you for giving me a memorable base for Christmas.

What an incredible part of the world and a cozy, peaceful place to enjoy it. Big thanks to Louisa and family for hosting us! Great recommendations from cozy pub : The George, to our epic walk up The Cobbler on a freezing but perfectly clear day - inspiring and definitely worth the effort of a sweaty hike if only to enjoy a drink in the pub at the end! : ) Thank you!!
